Quality Engineering Lead / Special Projects Officer
Promoted to lead team of 35 in fulfillment of objectives and goals for critical ABCSI project involving implementation of advanced data collection, storage, and dissemination system for U.S. Army's three Maneuver Combat Training Centers. Scope of accountability includes project planning, scheduling, tracking, and troubleshooting, R&D, systems/applications development, staff performance management, vendor and sponsor communications, quality assurance, systems design, and budget administration ($14 million+). Deliver presentations to Army staff (Pentagon-/general-level staff), training personnel, U.S. government representatives, and academic leaders.
Completed training in and use Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute (CMUSEI) Team Software Process (TSP) and Personal Software Process (PSP) to facilitate development progress. Automated and supervised trajectory flight planning process; provided Mission Control Support of 26 Space Shuttle missions, with 10 in lead FDO position.
Previously supervised applications programmers as Team Lead in Trajectory Operations Applications Software Task (TOAST) project that provided Mission Control support software for FDOs; defined requirements, validated documentation, and developed pre-mission and real-time application software.
